Description

Unknown artist (Hole In The Wall) - "Blue Turns To Grey" / "Bring It On Home To Me" - Sounds On Broadway (1631 Broadway, New York, NY) original one-of-a-kind 10-inch two-sided metal acetate test pressing of professionally recorded organ and electric guitar based psych garage rock 45 from 1967 (sound file above for A-side). There are no matrix numbers and no artist credits. Record is Near Mint. This is the Matawan, New Jersey band, Hole In The Wall - a different mix of this song was commercially released as a 45 on Epic Records. B-side is organ-heavy garage version of the Sam Cooke classic. Came from the collection of the late Johnny Dee, who was their manager (as well as a New York City area disc jockey and AOR guy). Nice!
