Hollies' Greatest was the Group's only number one album in the UK. It was released after Graham Nash's departure from the Hollies and was intended to include all of their British hit singles with Nash. Only 3 of the 14 songs on the album -- "Stay", "I Can't Let Go" and "Stop! Stop! Stop!"—had previously been released on U.K. albums. It spent seven weeks at the top of the chart in 1968

(b)          The record is  apparently pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(c)           The record is believed to come in the original “Made in Great Britain” stock inner sleeve.

(d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

·       COVER (THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, LAMINATED, GLOSSY COVER):

COVER IS STRONG NEAR MINT, STILL SEALED AND COVERED IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-        Cover has a MINOR "wavy" (curly) warp across the back panel   (VISIBLE ON BACK SIDE ONLY) ; this will have absolutely no effect on the record.

-        [PLEASE NOTE: "wavy" warping on vintage European imports sealed by their American importer for distribution in the U.S. is almost universal, as European imports were slightly wider than American covers, and  the American sealing machines could not accommodate their width and height, compressing the wider Eurp-covers by the slightly tighter American shrink wrap; this will self-correct after the shrink wrap has been removed and the cover properly stored for awhile]
