Description

Holst's Orchestral showpiece played by a brass quintet and organ adaptation...comes off with commanding power and intensity.  Fidelio's recording made in a Montreal church is "stupendous" with subterranean bass, unlimited dynamic range, huge soundstage, startling clarity..   I am cribbing from the October 2012 record review page 134 of the Absolute Sound.  All in all, this is a very special recording at 45 rpm from an all analog, all tube microphones, electronics and tape recorder.   2010 ADISO album of the year nominee.  Rave reviews from John Atkinson and Art Dudley of Stereophile magazine.
