Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.  We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback.   We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. • Extremely Rare and desired North West (Oregon) 1969 private press on Hoot Records (released by The New Dawn.) Only 500 copies were pressed, and most are long gone. Last we heard long ago would be valued at $2000 in this minty condition.
  

1.  The New Dawns "There's A New Dawn" has been hailed as one of rarest and best psych albums to come out of the late 60's. 
2. Fuzz guitar, minor-chord organ dirges, tender vocals and monumental bass are the calling cards of this private press gem. Maybe its all the rain, but like their Northwest counterparts, The New Tweedy Brothers and The Sonics, The New Dawn helped to establish a regional musical perspective that is hauntingly addictive.

4. Initially released in July of 1969, five hundred copies were pressed. Subsequently, auctions rarely turn up and IF so an original vinyl LP easily goes for $2000.

6. Salem, Oregon was home turf for The New Dawn, an excellent psychedelic fuzz guitar & organ combo. 
7. New Dawn's album is eerie, dreamy and atmospheric.

   [isdntekvideo] It is a charming piece of work that reveals its beauty after repeated listens. Pounding bass and fuzz guitar back up softly melodic vocals whilst the bands songs are filled with a sense of dreamy despair. There's also the odd strange sound effect. The album is also full of 'acid' organ sounds but also features some nice soft rock ballads.

   The opening cut 'New Dawn' begins with an unusual (spoken word) recitation and it really carries you away with its mysticism; It is ideal for a summer day on the beach. 
9. 'I See A Day' has good fuzz guitar and the melancholy 'It's Raining' couples this with sound effects; there's beautiful upfront organ on 'Hear Me Cryin' and side one closes with the psychedelic anthem 'Dark Thoughts', a killer aggressive nugget more , uptempo song drenched in fuzz guitar.
   
10. Other highlights include 'We'll Fall In Love' with its haunting organ and 'Last Morning' with its surrealistic beauty.
