Here is the HOLY GRAIL of Norman Petty Studios productions
Why? Because it was never commercially released back in 1954. It was Norman Petty's first attempt at overdubbed vocals intended to be the Norman Petty Trio's 2nd release on his own Nor-Va-Jak label. For two reasons it wasn't released:
#1: the more Norman listened to this, he wasn't pleased with the quality.
#2: Mood Indigo, their first release, was a hit regionally, and needed a fast follow up...this was supposed to be it. These 2 tracks were recorded, pressed, and then "Mood Indigo" got picked up by RCA's new "X" label. Rather than kill possible sales & momentum, copies of this went to a few family members and the rest either discarded or like this copy, sat in storage, untouched for 62 years!
I also have the 45 version listed this week.
This is in perfect condition, never played & in the original sleeve.

This vinyl is guaranteed to be supplied direct from the Petty Studios warehouse in Clovis, NM, although the seller is located in California. All items are packed with cardboard padding to prevent damage.
