HOLY MODAL ROUNDERS LP INDIAN WAR WHOOP (ESP Disk ESP-1068) Released 1967.
Original US stereo pressing from 1967 on the vintage white ESP Disk label. Michael Hurley wrote "Morning Glory" & "Radar Blues" on this album. Members Peter Stampfel & Steve Weber wrote some of the cuts. The actor & playwrite Sam Shepard plays drums on this album. (He later married Sissy Spacek). Nice thick waX & sturdy cardboard jacket. Pretty textured cover with warm shade of orange on back. Recorded by Dick Alderham. (Matrix #: "ESPS(c) 1068 A ORT-5 DBH").
COVER - VERY GOOD PLUS
Cover is free of creases, writing, smudges, ink stains, tape, water damage, cut-out marks, stickers, & color fading. Very very nice design & cover preservation. One-inch seam split on bottom edge. Virtually no ring wear, with a little corner banging. Spine print is mostly readable. Label has no marks, stains, writing, stickers, fading or cuts, but side B label has some ridges from paper separation. Sharp print, rich color on label. Sharp cut hole free of spindle scuffs.
