COVER IS IN EXCELENT SHAPE. NO SEAM SPLITS. GOOD CORNERS. THE VINYL IS NEAR MINT. I HAVE ONLY PLAYED THIS ALBUM 3 TIMES SINCE IT CAME INTO MY POSESSION 4 YEARS AGO AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS NEVER PLAYED PRIOR TO THAT BY THE GUY IN GERMANY I BOUGHT IT FROM. THIS ALBUM IS INSANELY DIFFICULT TO FIND ON VINYL DUE IT'S LATE RELEASE YEAR OF 1990 (AS YOU KNOW VINYL ALBUMS AS A VIABLE FORMAT FOR MASS PRODUTION  PRETTY MUCH ENDED WITH THE POPULARIZING OF CASSETTE'S AND CD'S IN THE LATE 80'S AND EARLY 90'S). I HAVE ONLY SEEN 3 GO UP FOR SALE IN THE PAST 7 YEARS. THIS HIGH-VOLTAGE BOMBSHELL OF AN ALBUM COMPETES WITH WHITECROSS'S 'HAMMER AND NAIL' AND STRYPER'S 'SOLDIERS UNDER COMMAND' FOR THE NUMBER ONE SLOT IN MY CHRISTIAN HAIR METAL TOP TEN. I HATE TO SEE IT GO, BUT I'VE GOT OTHER ALBUMS IN MY SIGHTS! DON'T MISS YOUR OPPERTUNITY TO GRAB THIS CLASSIC ALBUM... THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT IT WILL NOT TURN UP AGAIN!

The best way to describe Holy Soldier would be commercial melodic metal heavily influenced by the eighties. The album stands out with its consistency in that each of its tracks brings the needed inspiration to hold up under repeated play.  Things get underway with “Stranger” and “See No Evil”, two energetic hard rockers, before the spine tingling ballad “The Pain Inside Of Me” is obtained.  The raw and gritty “Cry Out For Love” gives way to one of the albums heavier pieces, “Tear Down The Walls” while the stylish “When The Reign Comes Down” perfectly complements the acoustic laced “Lies” and mega-melodic ballad “Eyes Of Innocence”.  Closing things out are two upbeat tracks, the emotionally charged “Love Me” and metal anthem “We Are Young, We Are Strong”.

Holy Soldier showcases immaculate production values allowing each member of the band to shine.  The lead guitar and bass, both distinctly rising above the mix, underscore a crisp sounding rhythm guitar.  The drums pack the needed punch and power.
