The great Brazilian pianist HOMERO DE MAGALHAES plays Villa-Lobos: The 16 Cirandas – Homero de Magalhaes was pupil of Magda Tagliaferro, Alfred Cortot, Yves Nat, Lili Kraus and Bruno Seidlhofer. He toured extensively through France, USSR, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia, Luxembourg and was also a music teacher in Brazil. He recorded an album for the French label Les Discophiles Française together with the legendary pianist Lili Kraus playing Schubert: Pieces for 4 Hands – Top Rare Early Original Brazil Only Mono LP on Plaza PZ-102 – Cover Condition: VG++ (some edge wear, few creases) / Record Condition: VG+ (few light surface scratches, some graying).
