Description
A classic issue by Homesick who recorded little in the 1950's due no doubt to the dominance of Elmore James, but fine sides non the less. Well recorded and for once his timing overall is not a big problem. Lazy Bill Lucas on piano and Alfred Elkins bs, and together they do a great job. His 2nd Chance issue. Chicago, 1953.
Do not let my detailed grading in the 'condition section' or the disc photos put you off as this plays and sounds fine albeit obviously not mint. The long mark on one side which looks like a scratch is superficial and does not sound . Definitely not trashed. Mint or E would be worth a lot more!
