On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Honeycombs called 'The Honeycombs' and is a 1964 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Pye label!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT HAS AN AWESOME COVER AND A GREAT RECORD!!!! THIS IS THE 1964 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PYE LABEL, 1ST PRESS PYE INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED FLIPBACK GARROD & LOFTHOUSE 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Pye UK 1st Pressing from 1964 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is NPL 18097 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Pye label (see picture) and is a UK 1st pressing!!!!
The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! THIS RECORD HAS CLEARLY ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, a few small hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! Its plays with only a few light clicks/pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! Even the inner most tracks are completely DISTORTION FREE!!!! The record must grade Very Good+!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Pye inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!! The 1st Press Laminated Flipback 'Patents Pending' Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking), AWESOME shiny 'mirror-like' laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in AWESOME condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, and NO yellowing!!!! The only INCREDIBLY minor point to mention on this cover, is some very VERY slight uneveness to the cover front - though is in important to note that this VERY minor indeed; with NO ripples to the opening edge, and most of the cover front and ALL of the cover back is COMPLETELY FLAT!!!! The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
