Description
Here for auction is a very rare 1982 UK 7" EP by Potential Threat,titled "What's so great britain" a 1st UK pressing on the Out of Town record label.
The labels are very clean,no stains of any kind and there is no detectable spindle trace any where on either side and with virtually no inner ring wear,I grade as near mint.
The vinyl on the A side I grade visually as EX as there are some very light swirl lines that in no way at all affect the audio and on the B side I visually grade the same,there is a lightly pressed rub type mark that is the only mark on this side and again,in no way affects the audio,I would like to state here that any marks that are on this disc completely dissappear with the grooves,as evidenced by the photos,please note the second from last photo shows the mark on the B side and then the last photo shows the exact same area & side and you can clearly see how the grooves are not destroyed and why this record plays like a new copy. I played both sides of this record and the intro on both is nice and quiet,as it is between all 5 tracks and I also noted silence between the brief pauses in the music were spot on,no ticks,clicks or cracks and this got me stumped this one at first because the sound is virtually as a new copy would play,clear and strong,a brilliant playing example,certainly nice to hear such a clean playing copy of what is an increasingly difficult record to find. The original picture sleeve I grade as EX,there are only minor issues with it,like the remnants of label adhesive and some relatively minor creasing and general shelf wear,also some slight staining to the reverse,however,in all this is a nice example,as you can see from the photos,with no rips or writing.
