Quick note on Jamaican pressings.  Apart from being effortlessly cool, it's well documented that pressing quality is not of the same standard as UK made records.  It is quite common for them to have pressing defects e.g. surface noise/pressing spots/indents/pressed off-centre. Even when new they can sound as if they've already had a bit of play!   Labels can have creases and may be stuck on off-centre.

Matrix numbers;  DSR 5272  /  5273.

In brand new paper sleeve.

CONDITION:      U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.  It’s in my best interests to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  Vinyl is play tested, both sides, IN FULL at volume on quality audio equipment.  Please note; there may be minor variations in the audible level of background surface noise/light crackle/dust pops from one turntable set-up to another.  Used records are cleaned with L'art Du Son fluid using a Moth vacuum record cleaning machine, unless condition deems unnecessary.   All records/sleeves are visually checked in good natural daylight or using 125W white/daylight bulbs. 

Playing condition is VG.  Some surface noise/light crackle.   Some pops - some consecutive.   Overall, NO loud distortion  NO jumps  NO sticking.  

Visually, in good daylight, the vinyl looks VG+.

PLEASE NOTE; Due to the reflective nature of vinyl discs, faint marks rarely show up in photos, however I try to include photos of any more-visible marks where possible.

Record Collector Magazine Grading System  - VINYL

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has clearly deteriorated, with obvious crackle and perhaps some distortion, Visually there may be a number of scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
