This is an ORIGINAL 1975 HOT DISK LABEL LP titled 'Get Wise', featuring ten tracks from well-known roots reggae man Horace Andy It is Hot Disk Records catalog number LP 506. This album is identical to - BUT IN MUCH BETTER CONDITION THAN - the one previously sold in completed eBay auction number 330113658731 - To view an image of this album and the results of that auction, perform an eBay item number search for eBay item number 330113658731 - The opening bid price in this auction is based on the results of that auction. This record appears to be a Jamaican pressing - The distributor of this LP is listed with a Kingston, Jamaica address on the back cover - but the label lists a Miami FL address for Allied Productions, the parent company of Hot Disk Records. Hot Disk Records labels are white with red and black print. Matrix numbers are hand etched in the dry runout areas; A-side matrix number is LP. 506-2006 A; B-side matrix number is LP 506-2006 B. Album cover is completely printed in black-and-white - Front cover has a photo of Horace Andy sitting in a chair; back cover has another photo of Horace wearing a white headband in a reflective mood, song titles, and album credits. Personnel are: Horace Andy-vocals with The Soul Syndicate Band - Leroy Wallace-drums / Aston (Family Man) Barrett-bass / Lloyd Willis-piano / Bobby Kalphat-organ. As stated above, this album is in real nice overall condition -- Record is a real nice VG++ with all original gloss and just a very few light surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of cover is a high VG+ with the original shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover, a little contact wear on the white areas of the back cover, and a little bit of wear along the open edge and on the corners on the open edge - NO SPLITS, NO TEARS, NO WRITING.
