Description

ARTIST: Horace Parlan
TITLE: Headin' South (1961)
LABEL: Blue Note (BLP 4062)
CONDITION (LP/Sleeve):(*NM-- or VG++/NM- or VG++) The LP looks and plays mostly NM with very few and faint superficial paper scuffs on side two (pictured) and slightly audible on "Summertime". The sleeve is NM with minimal foxing to the white colored front and aside from the imperfection pictured is also NM.

OTHER: Non-DG RVG stamp and ear on both sides of the dead wax also has the West 61st address on back of sleeve and New York,USA on labels.
*Play graded with a Thorens 165 and Grado Mono cartridge. I gave it final listen as I was creating this listing and there are a few passages where small and quiet amount of audible surface clicking happens, during "Summertime". It subsides when the music gets jumping again and in my opinion doesn't take from the overall experience. I have sort of trained my ears to disregard surface noise so it doesn't bother me but if you are one of those 'has to be absolutely perfect in every way even if it is a 50 year old record' you may want to find another copy.
