  • Blue Note Records BST 84082, this is a vintage US stereo pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the hard to find Horace Parlan LP "Up & Down". This pressing has the blue and white labels with the "New York USA" address notation; "VAN GELDER" and "STEREO" are clearly stamped in the trail off. There is no "ear" mark in the trail off, and the labels have a ridge, but no deep groove. Jacket is about VG++, showing some rubbing/corner bumping and some minor ring wear on back; there is some paper chipping at top left edge. Vinyl is a shiny and clean EX, showing some minor sleeve/paper marks. Sound quality is solid throughout - a few marks on side 1 cause some gentle ticks, but no skips or repeats - while labels are crisp with no spindle wear. Buyer Pays $4.00 media mail shipping in the US, $15 first class mail to Canada; sorry, I no longer ship overseas.
