    AUDIO CHARACTERISTICS OF A USED LP. RECORDS IN THIS USED CATEGORY ARE CLEANED AND PLAY GRADED

    TO OFFER COLLECTORS OPPORTUNITIES TO OWN OBSCURE AND INTERESTING RECORDS. THESE ARE AT LEAST

    80% OF THE ORIGINAL SOUND OF A NEW LP.

   Grading Code

 N or N/NM - grooves are undisturbed, clean record surface, Mint or Mint-like.

NM/N- a virtually unmarked disc, that has had careful and infrequent usage.

N-  A dependable standard for excellence in condition. This grade includes minimally invasive paper marks, fingernail marks, 

and slight smudges from usage that are not audible.       

       Records graded to this level will have only a very light measure of these kinds of inaudible surface marks..

 EX+- A record that has been played quite a few times, with sufficient care to ensure continued musical enjoyment.       

         A tick or a pop, even a few repeated seconds of surface noise can occur at  this grade level. 

        The slight and occasional interruptions in microgroove continuity are far outweighed by the musical enjoyment offered to the listener.

 EX- A record still excellent sonically, with no shearing or clipped tones, cleaned to microscopic levels, it will play revealingly to please most

 levels of audio enjoyment, light background surface noise does not predominate the music.

Other-records with below average to average surface wear condition. Astute collectors will find many bargains in the VG+/EX range due to

 advances in  audio cleaning/restoration. Expect a very listenable LP with occasional spots of surface noise.
