Up for auction is
Horace Silver And The Jazz Messengers.
Blue Note BLP 1518.
This is a late 50's transition pressing with a 47 W63 (no R) label on side 1 and 767 Lexington label on side 2. Deep grooves both sides. It also has a P or "ear", hand-etched RVG, and 9M.
Record is graded G+ with mild scuffing and some hairline marks and scratches. It retains a decent gloss.
Cover is graded VG with mild edge wear and tight seam splits top and bottom. Font and back present well.
