BLUE NOTE RECORDS # BST 4008

Early United States Stereo pressing of this hard to find record album.  The copy we are offering here is on the Deep Groove Blue Note label, with “33 1/3 Stereo Long Playing” at the top and the address of “47 West 63rd NYC” on both record labels.  Both sides have RVG and “THE EAR” stamped into the dead wax. 

The recording features Blue Mitchell on trumpet, Junior Cook on tenor sax, Horace Silver on piano, Eugene Taylor on bass, and Louis Hayes on drums.  

COVER: The jacket still has some of its glossy luster on the front, along with some light surface wear.  The top seam and spine are in very nice shape with no splitting, and the bottom seam has only a light rub on the right corner.  The jacket grades a strong VG due to some moisture marking, mostly on the back and on the bottom half.  This has caused the jacket to lightly curl at the bottom.  Still a pretty nice looking cover overall.

VINYL: The record is pressed on nice thick and heavy vinyl and retains quite a bit of its original glossy luster.  This LP grades an exceptionally strong VG+.
