HORACE SILVER QUINTET Song For My Father MONO EAR VAN GELDER Blue Note LP 1558 Shipping Info Description Vintage jazz lp: THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET - SONG FOR MY FATHER - Blue Note 4185 - the original mono pressing with deep groove, 'Van Gelder' stamped in the deadwax, the ear etched in the deadwax along with "BNLP 4185A/BNLP 4185B", and the New York address on the labels; 6 tracks, released in 1964.
Condition: VG+/VG (The vinyl has several minor scratches, a couple of which I can barely feel, but it plays through and sounds great, EX, with only a touch of very minimal ticking for a few seconds at those areas; the labels are clean; the jacket has two holes punched through it, moderate corner rubbing, a 1.5-inch split at center of the top edge and a 1/2-inch split with a bit of paper loss at right side of top edge, minor rubbing to bottom edge, minor rubbing to spine but with a 1/8-inch scar at the middle of it; minimal cover rubbing; record store sticker (that was originally used to seal it) at edges, with the original price of $2.98).
