Description
This is a rare early MONO pressing of the excellent THE TOKYO BLUES LP by THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET on Blue Note Records (BLP 4110, Mono, w/ "VAN GELDER" imprint on dead wax) from 1962. A fantastic jazz record from this legendary artist. The vinyl is in VG- condition with some light marks and wear, a small amount of writing in red ink on the A-side label, as pictured, and some audible surface noise (light crackle); not for the most demanding audiophiles, but an enjoyable copy without skips or other anomalies thanks to a quality 1960s pressing. The sturdy cardboard cover is in VG condition with a few scuffs, scrapes and dings, as pictured. Don't pass up a rare gem like this!
