THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET
The Tokyo Blues ORIG.1962 BLUE NOTE BLP 4110
- DEADWAX SIDE 1: BN-LP 4110 A-1 (EAR SYMBOL) VAN GELDER
- DEADWAX SIDE 2:(EAR SYMBOL) BN-LP 4110 B-1 VAN GELDER
1st original issue with
- blue & white labels with New York USA
- "VAN GELDER" stamped and "EAR/" symbol into deadwax both sides.
VINYL:
looks & plays VG++ (EX) (thick and heavy heavy vinyl)
side 1: Plays a very strong VG+ just a couple light pops short of what I consider VG++. But
virtually no surface sound and the music comes through brilliantly
side 2: plays between EX+ & NM could easily pass for NM
SLEEVE: VG+ no splits,wear at the very corner tips, some oxidation spots on the back
INNER SLEEVE: Will come with a nice Bluenote inner sleeve but it will not be the correct one.
The record will be shipped in an additional audiophile-ish inner sleeve

VG++ A hair under near mint may have only a couple of insignificant surface only lines that should cause
only very minimal sound defects. Cover out of shrink otherwise close to perfect
VG+ Used but not abused. Some surface lines. Will have some relatively slight audible imperfections.
Some normal cover wear.
VG… There will be visual imperfections and some audible ones . May be a number of surface only lines or there
might be a small scratch but not one that repeats, Cover will be worn or have some kind of defect.
VG- .. Usually the lowest rating I will list an LP at. Same as VG but defects are more pronounced. May have more than 1 scratch but still not one that repeats. This record will still be enjoyable but there will almost definitely be background sound.
