Description

The Horace Silver Quintet vinyl LP - Serenade For A Soul Sister- US first issue from 1968 on Blue Note, with VAN GELDER stamped in the run-out on both sides.

The record is in EX condition. It has a few hairlines and very light scuffs, but plays without any problems. Many sellers would grade it as Near Mint, but I tend to be a bit more conservative so that no one is disappointed.

The outer sleeve is EX-.  it is one of the best examples of a 1960s US pressing I have ever come across, but unfortunately, it is  spoiled by the presence of damp spots on the inside of the gatefold. Such a pity.

The original inner sleeve, which advertises other releases on the Liberty label is EX-/VG+, as it has small splits to the bottom edge and one of the vertical edges - see pictures.

However, overall this is a great record and I think whoever buys it will be happy with it.

As with all the items I'm selling a full refund is offered if the winning bidder is not happy with the quality of the item, as long as it is returned to me in the same condition as it is now.
