Description

Absolutely gorgeous original 1968 pressing of the Horace Silver Quintet's Serenade to a Soul Sister LP on Blue Note BST-84277. Features Stanley Turrentine and Billy Cobham. First pressing on the blue and white labels, with Rudy Van Gelder's stamp in the runoffs. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. Truly a stunning copy. The cover is also in beautiful condition, with only a slightly bumped upper left corner, and a bit of fraying at the center of the spine where the disc touches the edge, where there is about an inch of the outer paper missing. Not bad. Otherwise this is a completely pristine copy. Simply gorgeous... near impossible to beat.
