HORACE SILVER - SONG FOR MY FATHER
Carmell Jones/Blue Mitchell (trumpet), Joe Henderson/Junior Cook (tenor sax), Horace Silver (piano), Teddy Smith/Gene Taylor (bass), Roger Humphries/Roy Brooks (drums).
Classic RARE 1964 LP on Blue Note Records, 1960s blue/white Liberty label (NOT a recent reissue), Stereo BST 84185, heavy vinyl, not deep groove, VAN GELDER stamped in dead wax. Really beautiful copy here, the deep stereo mix sounds fantastic, and as crystal clear as any original Blue Note I've heard!

ITEM CONDITION
JACKET: VG+ (Slight ring wear and bumped corners, "RR" written in light pen on front, otherwise very clean and sturdy. No splits or stickers. Original printed inner sleeve included)
VINYL: VG++ (Clean and glossy, some very light sleeve scuffs and a couple of very small marks that cause a few soft pops toward the end of side 2. Nothing major. Labels and holes look almost perfect, barely played. Sound is deep and crystal clear from start to finish, you will be pleased with this one!)
