Up for auction is the now Legendary Independent Psych album HOT POOP - DOES THEIR OWN STUFF a 1971 LP by SF Bay Area band Hot Poop.
This private pressing is in Near Mint condition for both LP and cover. This album got international press mention, and scant distribution, thus being sought after by collectors, and yet very few have ever heard this band or the album. Amazing thing is, that while the look, sound, and even name of the band is pure indie Psych, the album has an accomplished sound somewhere like Capt. Beefheart goes surfing while on acid fuzz! Very hard to pinpoint the influences, by a fun listen anyway.
Less than 500 of this title were pressed, outdated record guides price this at $100.00 to $175.00, often this sells on ebay for well over that, don't miss this Near Mint copy, a great collectible LP, and is the first and only pressing.
