Description

10" 78rpm Record

WORLDECHO A-1008

CECIL NORMAN Dir. STUDIO GROUP (as 'Norman Sissel and his Rhythm Twisters') - Sylvester Ahola - Trumpet present

Come On Baby / Excuse Me Lady

Condition: E-/E- quiet playing surfaces.

NOTES:

Worldecho 78s rarely turn up without digs/groove damage or flaking laminate. This copy is an exception and plays extremely well. VERY RARE in this condition.

VISUAL GRADING

The grading of side one and side two of a disc is separated by a forward slash: E/V+

I use standard VJM Grading

E+ Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of jackets. E Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches. E- Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches. V+ V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced. V Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive. V- Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.

N.B.
Scratches or needle digs that cause repeats or skips are noted separately; as are cracks, prominent digs, needle-runs, rim-chips, rim-flakes, edge-bites, edge-dents, warps, 'dishing' etc.

The safe arrival of your record(s)

As a collector of 78s myself, I understand the importance of safe packing for postage. 78s won in my auctions are sandwiched between stiff cardboard squares, taped at edges and wrapped in bubble wrap. They are then placed in an oversized box and are protected on all sides/edges with further cushioning. I have been posting 78s for a number of years and none have ever been damaged during transit.

Postage & Packing charges

  • UK - £4.00 for 1st record*
  • REST OF EUROPE (Airmail): £7.50 for 1st record*
  • USA & REST OF THE WORLD (Airmail): £12.00 for 1st record*

*For additional records, postage will be charged at cost

A larger quantity of records will result in far better value, so I'm happy to look after (paid for) records to make up an economical parcel.

PAYPAL ONLY, FROM INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE.
