 "Hot Rod Hootenanny". This rare and zany LP is by The Weirdos and the voice of Mr. Gasser. This scarce album is on the Capitol color band label MONO T-2010. This is a first pressing issue released in 1964.
"Mr. Gasser" is actually Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, hot-rod builder and weirdo artist, Weird Ed created the cool cover art for this album.
The "Weirdos" are members of Phil Spector's Wrecking Crew which included, Leon Russell, Glen Campbell, Hal Blaine, Billy Strange, Jimmy Bond, Tommy Tedesco, Carol Kaye, Barney Kessel, Jerry Cole. Gary Usher was the leader of this motley crew.
