Description

This is a rare early original thick heavy vinyl U.S. lp on deep blue and silver ARIS label #HLP-1008, called: HOUDI HRANT in notes and on labels is OUDI HRANT. on back cover it says MASTER OF THE ORIENTAL OUD. There are 11 songs: FORTUNE TELLERS DREAM / DANCING MAIDENS / HRANT'S LAMENT / etc. Oudi Hrant is a versatile soloist and singer, If you search for exotic greek, armenian, turkish, etc lps consider this wonderful record. Mr Hrant was blind from a very young age and played the violin until he heard from an open window in this home the beautiful sounds of the Oud, since then he has been known as one of the most enjoyable players and singers to listen to. The lp has pristine labels and very glossy playing surfaces NO scratches, groove wear, defects, warps, etc. I noticed only a few very light surface scuffs on each side that do not affect play, both sides sound wonderful, The cover is thick cardboard with only light wear. Also has previous owners name stamped very tiny on back top right corner. Has strong seams and spine, NO cut outs, bent corners, stains, stickers, seam or spine splits, etc. Glad I could make available this rarity in this CONDITION: COVER NM - - - / LP NM - - .
