THIS RARE COLLECTABLE 78 IS ON THE SELDOM SEEN U.S. BLUE NOTE LABEL # 1572 FROM JANUARY 23RD 1950. SONGS ARE: I'LL REMEMBER APRIL & FUGUETTA. TWO EXCELLENT BE BOP SONGS: HOWARD McGHEE ON TRUMPET - JAY JAY JOHNSON ON TROMBONE - KENNY DREW ON PIANO - CURLEY RUSSELL ON BASS - MAX ROACH ON DRUMS. THIS RECORD LOOKS LIKE NEW WITH GLOSS AND LUSTER, AND IT PLAYS WITH QUALITY SOUND WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE METHODS USED BACK IN 1950. THIS ONE GRADES AS A NEAR MINT AND IS ONE THAT YOU WILL BE PROUD TO OWN, PLAY OR FRAME. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce.
