Description
Beautifully kept, rare US variant of Chess LP 1434. It's a mono pressing with mid-1960s Chess labels and what looks like the same matrix etchings as the 1959 mono issue (see below). The cover design and layout is also the same as the 1959 issue. The LP is remarkable clean, with one or two very light, inaudible surface marks. As is typical for Chess vinyl from this era, it has a few minor pressing flaws visible enclose inspection: two small 1cm half-moon shaped raised "bubbles" on Side 1 (see pic #4 above) and three tiny <2mm indented circular "dimples" on side 2 (see pic #5). These do not affect play either, which is excellent throughout with typical faint surface crackle. The cover is VG+ with some browning from light exposure near the open edge (no splits, remainder holes or other damage). See photos above.
