HOWLIN' WOLF-EVIL 1969 CHESS RECORDS LP CH-1540 IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. MOSTLY CLEAN VINYL!! This album was originally named Moanin' In The Moonlight in 1958 and took the burgeoning rock world by storm but nothing like it did when it was re-released in 1969. The blues were alive and very well at this time and it was songs such as the title track, Forty Four, Smokestack Lightnin' & How Many More Years that help lead that resurgence. All fans of the legendary clues man or the genre need this one in their collection, it's an essential!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition with just a very light hairline on side 1 that definitely does not hamper play at all, plays well throughout. The cover has a tiny slice in the upper left hand corner(see picture), mild wear along the edges, mild rubs on the corners and a wisp of ring wear / aging front and back. The original inner sleeve is intact. An awesome buy!!
