Description
Wolf's first issue on Chess. Recorded in Memphis by Sam Phillips in 1951.Willie Johnson and Ike Turner in the mix. A masterpiece heralding what was to come over the next few years. Music which can never be matched so unique was Wolf's personal sound. What a mighty man he was in every way! Grades as V+/V(+) with scuffs and rubbing. 'Years' has slightly more underlying surface but the music dominates. Phillips and Chess were always able to record so well that their 78 issues really delivered great sound and this no exception.
Within the UK I can send more than one 78 in a parcel so if you win more than one I will either invoice you OR refund overpaid postage if you choose to pay individually.Overseas I am using Ebay's Global Shipping programme which may mean that wins are sent individually.
