HP Lovecraft 'HP Lovecraft II'.
Original UK Elektra orange label stereo issue LP.
The 2nd HP Lovecraft LP, a Chicago based band who took the name from their collective love of HP Lovecraft's books. Their second album is psychadelic classic of self penned tunes recorded after they relocated to the San Francisco region following high-profile shows at the Fillmore West for all the local San Fransisco Flower Power groups and were on the brink of wider success......
The front laminated sleeve is intact and in EX condition, it has some very light corner and laminate storage wear on the front cover, some laminate lifting along the spine and some light rubbing on the inner cover. The spine is intact, but slightly crushed & fully readable and the plain inner is intact & in EX condition.
The record is in visually EX+ condition with very little evidence of being played, except for a couple of faint hairlines visible under bright light on each side and small area of bag rash on the rim of side 1 that does not affect play. The labels are clean & bright, in EX+ condition, with no evidence of spindle markings.
The sound reproduction is EX+, with definately no skips, sticks or jumps on either side, but there is some very brief background noise during the run in grooves, overall a really great, loud & punchy listen! The matrix nos. are 852126, 1Y//1 mother stamper 1-1-5, 2Y//1 mother stampers 1-1-5. This is one of the earliest pressings of the original 1968 UK stereo 1st press issue of this album.
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
