Special note to foreign bidders: PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING!! IN PURCHASING THIS ITEM, YOU ARE AGREEING THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON ON FOREIGN SHIPMENTS. In order for me to ship out of the U.S., it is much more effort and expense.

1. Because of this, I do not ship to foreign buyers if the value of the item is less than $20.
2. For items $20-$50, I can ship First class International to buyers with perfect feedback. This method is NOT insurable or trackable, but costs less. Weight must be less than 4 pounds.
3. For items $50-$100, I would ship via priority mail international with insurance for the value bid. Some countries do not allow insurance. Please e-mail for shipping costs before bidding as this method costs more, but is insurable (usually) and trackable.
4. For items > $100, it will have to go some method that can be signed for. Global Express, probably, it is expensive!

2. 9 ounces - $35.25 (Priority Mail International) + cost of box

Description: Up for your consideration is the next in a series of unique Lps, this one by John Lennon and Yoko Ono.  Lots of great material here in fine shape.  My only issue is with the box cover (see below).

  Several unique things about this item:  Firstly, this disc retains the original shine with no visible imperfections grading by sight in normal room light. I'm sure if you took this and put it under a 1000 watt bulb, you'd probably find something that makes it less than mint.  If you're that kind of collector, let me suggest this auction is not for you.

I don't claim this record is mint.  Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to average around half way between VG+ (excellent) and Near Mint with some scattered very light surface noise such that might be heard on just about any record.  If you want an audio grade of an entire record, no problem, just drop me a note well in advance of the end of auction.  You can then assign your own grade based on my comments on what I heard and the GRADING SCALE BELOW!.     

Keep in mind how it plays for me may differ how it plays for you based on differences in audio equipment. 

Secondly, this item comes with seven (7) inserts as noted above, all in fine shape!

I am using the Goldmine scale of G=Good(1), VG = Very Good(2), VG+ = Very Good Plus(excellent)(3), NM = Near Mint(4) when grading the disc(s). 

Here is a summary of the record(s):

Artist: John Lennon, Yoko Ono Title: The wedding album Record: Black vinyl with original shine and no visible imperfections grading by sight in normal room light. Labels: Green apple with dark print.   No stickers, no pen/pencil marks, no spindle marks. Trailing wax: Side 1: "SMAX-1-3361-X2".  Side 2: "SMAX-2-3361-X2". Inner sleeve(s): A generic, white sleeve in fine shape.   Cover: Very clean, slight wear to corners.  No seam splits, no stickers, no pen/pencil marks.  Rate the cover VG+(excellent).  You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Box cover: The top cover has one corner split, lower right.  There is a lifting of paper on that corner side as well, plus a small closed tear.  The front cover shows some rippling on the top half, some general wear (smudging) along the left edge.  Hopefully, you can see that on the scanned photo.  The bottom cover has all four corners split.  So, you'd probably want to tape these issues.  Rate the box cover good to very good, closer to good.  You can assign your own grade based on my comments. Comments: Based on past experience and visual examination, I'd expect the tracks to audibly average around half way between VG+(excellent) and Near Mint with some scattered very light surface noise such that might be heard on any record.  If you want an audio grade (please request well in advance of the end of auction), you can then assign your own grade based on my comments and the scale shown below.  A good addition to your LP collection.   Side 1: Comments: John & Yoko Audio grade provided upon request Side 2: Comments: Amsterdam Audio grade provided upon request

Additional criteria I use when audibly grading records for people:

• NM(4) = absolutely nothing wrong at all (very rarely happens--I've even opened sealed records and they don't play Near Mint)
• 3.5-3.9 = very, very light surface noise
• 3.1-3.4 = very light surface noise, very light pops
• VG+(3) = up to light pops and light surface noise (below this, one's enjoyment is affected, very subjective)
• VG(2) = up to medium pops and moderate surface noise
• G(1) = up to heavy pops and heavy surface noise

I can ship in a  14 x 14 x 6" box. Weight with box is about 2 pound 13 oz. Shipping is $3.68 Media Rate (2-3 pounds) + $1.70 box/tape/packing + $.50 handling = $5.88.

This auction is currently set to ship in the smaller box.  If you want the larger box, let me know and I'll send an appropriate invoice.
