Condition of Cover: NEAR MINT MINUS
· This is a stunning example of an extremely rare and sought after classic Blue Note Lp. There are no marks, writings, or stamps of any kind. The covers’ lamination is complete and fully intact with no bubbles, separation or lifting. The colors on the front are bold and bright and the image is sharp. The text on the back cover is crisp and solid. The spine is solid with no signs of damage to the structure and the seams are strong. No signs of splitting whatsoever. There is no ring wear are fading evident, at all. I only hesitate to call in Near Mint or better because of the very faint signs of edge wear to the corners (see photos) caused by being stored on record shelves for the last 40+ years.
Condition of Vinyl: NEAR MINT
· This is a near flawless Lp. The sound quality is pure. It plays beautifully with no ticks, pops or hisses just the incredible jazz music that has made this one of the most sought after Blue Note Lp's by jazz collectors and fans worldwide .Side one appears to have been played probably twice, (one time being when I play graded track 1, to verify the sound quality for grading) judging by the fact that there is only one spindle mark on side one which is very faint and unless examined very closely is almost entirely unnoticeable. Nice clean, thick wax that still retains virtually all the original luster. There is no spindle wear evident on side 2, leaving the appearance of a fresh, brand new un-played record. To the best of my knowledge this Lp hasn't ever been played through it's entirety and given the pristine state of the spindle hole area of the label I would tend to believe it’s never been touched by a turntable needle on side two. I opted not to play grade side two thinking that it should remain un-played so the new owner could be the first to give it a listen. It has a few very light paper sleeve scuffs, but that’s to be expected..
This is one of, if not the nicest Blue Notes I have seen, it was a gift from my uncle about 25 years ago when I first started collecting records.
Why am I selling this Lp?
My daughter just recently turned 16. and her drivers education class ends next month. Time has come to pass on the “starter record” as my uncle called it, and help her get started with her adult life. She works hard to maintain her GPA, go to work, help around the house and with the other kids plus she has been trying to save money to buy a car before she takes her drivers test. So here I am donating my first “collectable” record, which is still the pride of my collection to her car fund because she works hard so that she can get a good start in life and it is after all a “starter record” according to my uncle. So have fun bidding and don’t worry about putting another 16 year old on the road I’ll probably be too nervous to let her drive without me anyways (just joking).

I regret that I have to ask that anyone who has a 0 feedback rating please not bid, this is nothing personal because I too have 0 feedback, because this is such a highly sought after Blue Note in amazing condition and the competitive nature of Ebay I want to be sure that there is absolutely no appearence of improper bidding tactics. No future bids from buyers with a 0 rating will be honored.
