Description

This is a rare LP. It's entitled 'Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boggie Woogie Flu' by Huey 'Piano' Smith on the UK Sue label from 1965 (catalogue no. ILP 917). It's a mono pressing. The sleeve is a laminated flipback type and shows some wear and creasing on the front. The edges and spine are in fine condition and the wording along the spine is 100% readable. The rear of the sleeve shows some discolouration but is in, otherwise, great condition. The flipbacks are intact. The sleeve has been graded VG+. The record has been very well played and there are some surface marks. However, it plays really well on both sides with no major pops or clicks. There is some minor surface noise. The title of the record on both labels is actually 'Havin' a Good Time' by Huey 'Piano' Smith and The Clowns. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - ILP 917 A and - side two - ILP 917 B. The record has been graded VG++. This is a must for serious Sue collectors and it will appeal to blues and jazz enthusiasts.
