HUGH MUNDELL - Africa Must Be Free By 1983 (Message DSR 5765-A-DT / DSR 5766-B-DT) - LP - 1978 Original pressing of Hugh Mundell's classic album Africa Must Be Free By 1983, released in 1978 on the Message label. The vinyl retains a very good sheen with some very light surface marks, a few fine, light hairlines, and four noticeable scratches - nothing too serious - see descriptions below. Tracks: Let's All Unite, My Mind, Africa Must Be Free By 1983, Why Do Black Man Fuss & Fight, Book Of Life, Run Revolution A Come, Day Of Judgement, Jah Will Provide, Ital Sip. A-side: There is the usual tiny / very small amount of intermittent background pressing noise associated with JA pressings of this period, with tiny and some very small pops and clicks plus a few more prominent ones. Grade - VG++ improving to EX-/EX B-side: There is the usual tiny / very small amount of intermittent background pressing noise associated with JA pressings of this period, with tiny and some very small pops and clicks. In addition, there are moderate clicks through much of Track 2 and the second half of Track 4 / Track 5 caused by the three more prominent scratches on the record. Grade - varies between VG-/VG and EX-
Labels: Both labels are pristine (see scan).
Cover: The heavy card sleeve shows creasing and wear to the front and back, with moderate wear to the corners and top and bottom edges, a split along the entire length of the spine, fraying to the opening edge and small marks against three of the tracks on the back cover.
