Description
The Human Beast: "Volume One" 1970, Germany/Decca SLK 16 672-P. Disc has some light hairlines from the rubbery poly sleeve, plays M- or very close, it gets an EX grade. Cover has some light wear, a top center seam split, back has an "R" embossed in a lower corner, this is a strong VG+ cover. World-class killer UK heavy underground LP by a wasted-but-inspired trio with horrific personal demons guiding them. This is an LP that freaked me out completely when I first heard it and it's still on my shelf over 20 years later. It's sort of in a class by itself, even though it could be filed alongside Sam Gopal, Twink, first Pink Fairies, Horse, etc. The difference is, these guys are scarier. Even the pic of them on the back cover looks freaky... there's something seriously wrong with them, you can tell right away. And lyrics like "Sell your sins to pay for time/to feed your brain in smoke and wine/for soon you'll taste the devil's breath/you've over-stayed your lease of death" don't serve to convince you they'd make good houseguests. Totally killer LP, and so rare!

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
