Description

Fantastic copy of a very rare psych-pop-jazz classic from 1970. I believe this record, which was a gift to my father-in-law from someone involved in the sound recording, was only played once, if that - it looks untouched. The sleeve is also in excellent condition. Hungry Wolf were a group made up of well-known session musicians - Alan Hawkshaw on piano and organ, Alan Parker on lead guitar, Clem Cattini on drums, Herbie Flowers on bass guitar, and Peter Lee Sterling on vocals, with brass arrangements by Hawkshaw, Hawkshaw and Parker also co-wrote all the songs. These musicians recorded under a variety of wilfully awful names, such as Rumplestiltskin and Ugly Custard, as well as Hungry Wolf.
