Madhubuti, the founder and leader of the Afrikan Liberation Art Ensemble. The private recording offered is a mind-blowing mix of free jazz and poetry with heavy emphasis on the theme of Black Nationalism. The music and words are loaded with intensity and any serious collector or student of the avant garde jazz movement of the 1970's should not be without this recording. Rare as girls at undergound hip-hop shows, do the do!
