Life is extremely precious, and it can be so wonderful if lived according to God’s plan. I realize that I shall live here only this once, and I’m trying very diligently to make each day count for the Master. My life has indeed been very richly blessed. I was reared in a Christian home by wonderful parents who.indeed gave us their love. I shared their love with two brothers, Larry Laverne and Jerry Wayne, and one sister, Mitzi Lou. Even though we were taught about the Lord, we were not compelled to live for Him. Until I received my own personal experience with the Lord, my ambitions and goals had been turned from Him. But feeling a great emptiness in my life at the age of twelve, 1 turned to the only one who could truly help me -- God. Scores of people today have the same emptiness, but they turn to the wrong sources for satisfaction. Immediately after my glorious conversion, I started singing in church. I was so happy I wanted everybody to get acquainted with Jesus. This same feeling still prevails in my life, this is the reason I gave up my college career as a teen-ager to become an evangelist. Working in God’ s great harvest field has been extremely fruitful and rewarding. But the reward of this life is nothing in comparison to the eternal reward that God has for His faithful laborers. The first three years of my ministry, I traveled in thirteen states conducting re- vivals, and also had the privilege of working in several youth camps. It's always such a joy to see others surrender their lives to God. After leaving college, my work kept me so well occupied that I found little time for dating. But while conducting a revival in the city of Hamilton, Ohio, I met a handsome young man that helped me find time for dating. Approxi- mately thirteen months later, I became Mrs. Bruce J. Cole. Bruce, being an outstanding young minister, has certainly added a lot to my ministry, as well as much happiness to my life. Both of us want to spend our entire lives in the Mast er' s service. On this album, I'm sharing with you two of my own com- positions: ‘‘I'll Soon Be Crossing'' and * 'Because of Love.'' This album is only my second one, but it was a great pleasure to record. The musicians and engineer were wonderful to work with. I truly hope that you enjoy listening to these songs as much a.s I enjoyed singing them.
