Offered here is a rare and highly collectible original first pressing of Hank Mobley – Blue Note 1550, one of the most iconic and sought-after titles in the Blue Note catalog. A hard bop masterpiece featuring an all-star lineup and Rudy Van Gelder’s signature engineering. Pressing Details: Label: Blue Note Records – BLP 1550 Format: Vinyl, LP, Mono Release Year: 1957 Label Address: 47 West 63rd NYC (no ® or Inc.) Runouts: RVG stamp and Plastylite “ear” present on both sides Deep groove on both labels Flat edge vinyl Original laminated cover Condition: Vinyl: VG+ – Glossy and well-preserved with a few light surface marks visible under strong light.
