Description
This is a lightly played original and rare US mono pressing of Hank Mobley - Dippin' - with Lee Mordan, Harold Mabern, Jr.,m Larry Ridley and Barry Higgins. Released in 1961. This is not a reissue.

Van Gelder stamp in trail off . A-1 stamper side one, B on side 2.
Vinyl: EX
Jacket: Still in cellophane. Very solid and crisp laminated jacket. slight soiling on back on opening edge, small handwriting lower right on back where a short strip of cellophane was removed.
Vinyl Grading:
Mint: Sealed or without evidenced of playNM: Not mint, no surface wear other than faintest of sleeve marks. Typical of a one or two play record. Like new gloss typical of one or two plays.
EX+ - Minor visible surface wear consistent with a well cared for record. Deep gloss, typical of very light play.
EX - Some slight signs of wear, including light sleeve marks or a very few light surface hairlines. No scratches. Excellent gloss, typical of light play.
VG+ - Scattered hairlines or very light scratches, background noise possible. Excellent gloss typical of light to medium play.

I'll be shipping in a new LP mailer with extra cardboard, appropriate padding for the thickness of the record and packed tight on the interior. The vinyl will be outside the sleeve and inside a new audiophile approved outer sleeve.
Look for my other items from this same collection this week. They are all as outstanding as this one.
I grade records visually. I no longer have a vinyl rig so I do not pay them before hand. If it is from my original collection and I have played it before, I will note my recollections.
