BLP 1541
767 Lexington Ave on Labels and Jacket.
Heavy vinyl with grooved label.
RVG with the EAR in dead wax on both sides.
Vinyl: EX
Very clean with both sides showing outstanding gloss. No scratches or hairlines. In everyday light the vinyl looks EX+. Under grading light there are a few scattered light surface handling - sleeve marks on both sides. Nothing that would appear to threaten play. There are a few faint traces of water spotting scattered on both sides that only become apparent under strong grading light. The owner took very good care of his collection.
Labels: EX+
I couldn't find any faults.
Jacket: VG (seam splits)
Very light shelf wear. Check the photos. What the photos can't show are: a clean four inch bottom opening split and a clean half inch split top opening. The spine is strong as are the remaining seams. Corner bump top right and light seam abrasion bottom left. All in all, excellent in appearance but must be treated with care.
I'll be shipping double boxed with a new white LP mailer with extra cardboard, appropriate padding for the thickness of the record and packed tight on the interior. The vinyl will be outside the sleeve and inside a new audiophile approved outer sleeve.
Look for my other items from this same collection this week. They are all as outstanding as this one.
I grade records visually. I no longer have a vinyl rig so I do not pay them before hand. If it is from my original collection and I have played it before, I will note my recollections.
International bidders are welcome.
