Description
Up for bid is "The Turnaround," by Hank Mobley. See pictures for song list and featured artists. This is a stereo pres, released by Blue Note Records (BST 84186) in 1965. LP is VG+ with light scuffs on either side. This LP also has a couple of tiny light scratches on either side. This LP looks and sounds great - plays with some surface noise (some intermittent crackle, tics, and a couple of pops) but no skips. Surface noise may be greatly reduced with a professional clean. Interior labels are very clean. LP is very clean and retains a nice gloss. The address on the interior labels read Blue Note Records INC - New York USA. There is an ear and "RVG" stamped in the matrix on either side. Includes original interior paper sleeve, with "1939-1966 27 Years of Blue Note The First Name in Jazz" printed on the top of each side and "Blue Note Records Inc. 43 West 61st St., New York 23, NY" printed at the bottom of one side (see pictures). Jacket is VG+, with a couple of seam splits. One is on the bottom seam, starting at the spine and traveling toward the mouth about 1/4 inch. The other is on the top seam, starting at the spine and traveling toward the mouth about 1/4 inch. There is wear on all seams and corners. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. There is a crease in the front top right corner. There is some discoloration on the front and back of the jacket. Front and back of the jacket retain a nice gloss. Don't miss out of this rare gem!
