Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “Soul Station” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 4031. The playing surface has a beautiful luster; however, the first track on Side 1 has a tiny hairline that creates thirteen tics; Side 2 has a number of small light hairlines on the first track and the first part of the second that create light tics. The laminated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; lamination lifting/flaking along the opening; the back slick has a 1 ¼” chip at the top right corner and ¼” chips at the opening corners; ¼” wear at the lower left corner and slight wear at the other corners.
