Hank Williams: Moanin' the Blues, 1952 MGM E3330 LP 33 Vinyl Record Album, Mono
- This 1956 album was posthumously released after his death (1953) and is a compilation of singles released from 1947 to 1953. It is the expanded 12 song version of the 1952 album released before his death. This album is a classic.
- This is the first issue of this record (it was reissued in later years).
- It has a yellow deep-groove MGM label, probably indicating an earlier and likely first pressing. I'm not able to tell for sure since the matrix says E3219, S1 or S2 for side 1 or side 2, and there is a stray D on side one and a stray E on side 2. You will have to be the judge of this.
- The label is marked "Long Playing Microgroove Unbreakable 33 1/3 R.P.M.", "M.G.M. Records - A Division of Loew's Incorporated - Made in U.S.A.", and the artist is credited as "Hank Williams With His Drifting Cowboys".
- The artist is credited as "Hank Williams" on the front and "Hank Williams With His Drifting Cowboys" on the back cover of the jacket.
