From my dad's very large 78 record collection I have found two records by Hank Williams, on Sterling Records. I am told that this record dates back to 1947. It is in very good condition. My dad had a note with the record, that it did not skip. I am not going to find a record player to find out if this is true, but, as good as this record looks, I'd be surprised if it did skip. The side with "Honky Tonkin', shows more wear than the side with "Pan American", but compared to all of the hundreds of 78's that I have just gone through, this record looks fantastic. I did my best to photograph the labels and both sides of the record. Of course for a record that is 61 years old, it does have some scuffs and minor scratches, but again, I believe the winner of this auction will be pleased.
I have been told that Hank Williams on Sterling can bring a large winning bid, especially in this condition. So if you want this record for your collection by Christmas, you'll have to bid.
Winner must pay, $20 dollars for Priority Mail. I will take extra care to protect this record in shipping. Insurance is highly encouraged.
