Description

Fascinating history behind this song commemorating Henry Ford, his improvements to the Model T, and America's new love affair with the automobile.   The lyrics have several comical double entrendres, which may have been mildly scandalous in 1928. 


V+ condition record featuring the smooth vocals of the duo known as the "Happiness Boys," consisting of tenor Billy Jones (1889–1940) and baritone Ernest Hare, this is a rare gem that transports you back to the era of flappers and speakeasies.
