Description
Official reprint of Jimi Hendrix live at the Saville Theatre on London`s Shaftesbury Avenue. This particular poster is of historical importance as it was originally designed back in August 1967 with Michael English and used to advertise the original shows promoted by Beatles manager Brian Epstein who died August 27, 1967 (same date) the later of two Jimi Hendrix shows was cancelled, as a mark of respect, causing some confusion amongst arriving and exiting Hendrix fans outside in the street. It was also home to many other concerts by such legends as Pink Floyd, The Who and Cream
This new edition has been signed, stamped/embossed and authorized by Nigel Waymouth of Hapshash & the Coloured Coat. Please see the attached photos of Nigel signing the large size UFO print that is also available.
This truly repesents a moment in history and a wonderful piece of Psychedelic Art.
The print measures 30ins x 20ins (77cm x 51cm) and has been reproduced directly from original artwork under the supervision of Nigel waymouth himself.
